What made you want to become a Lionheart presenter? I have always wanted to be on the radio. It was a childhood dream of mine, and as I was growing up I thought this is never going happen so I dropped the dream. Then when I was in my second year of Barndale School someone asked me if I fancied giving Lionheart Radio ago. I said yes, went once and been there ever since.

You have recently gone solo. How did that happen? I have no idea! I had the idea of being solo for a while. I was in the studio with Anne one day and it just came out like this ‘Do you think I am ready to do it on my own?’ I panicked when she said I was ready. But I am glad that she did because I love doing it by myself!

If you had to give someone a tip about radio presenting what would it be? Be yourself! Don’t pretend to be someone else!

Fair enough! Would you say presenting is hard? It’s not hard as in essay question hard! If that makes sense!

No! That didn’t make sense! Can you explain what you mean? I will try! You know how an essay question is really hard and it takes time to work it out? The Radio desk doesn’t take that long. I was only shown a couple of times how to work it and I picked it up quite quickly! So if I can do it, anyone can!

What is the best thing about presenting on Lionheart Radio? The atmosphere of the place. Everyone I have met so far has been really nice and very helpful.

And the worst? Only being there one day a week!

What is your most embarrassing moment in Radio? Haha! I knew I was going to be asked that! It was when I first started. I was talking away with the microphone turned off so no-one could hear me!

And your best moment? There are loads but I would have to say getting my first text.

Have you got any hobbies? Yes! Reading, writing, painting, dog walking, computers and anything to do with music.

Have you got a job? No.

What would you like to be when you are older? I would like to not get any older!

You have to get older Becca! yeah you have to get older but someone once said to me getting older is essential growing up is optional!

Has anyone ever told you to grow up? YES! Quite a few people.

Right ok back to presenting! What makes you different to the other presenters? I am young and good looking! Ha!

Speaking of good looking people, is there any lads at Lionheart Radio you fancy? Maybe!

Describe yourself in two words! Completely Random!

What do you think other presenters think of you? That I am the most immature person on the planet! I don’t know!

How do you rate yourself as a presenter? Well I am a lot better now than when I first started so now I think 7 out of 10.

What do you think about the other presenters? They are great! Really helpful. Everyone of them is fantastic! If I am honest they inspire me!

Aww! That was nice! Anyway, last question when is your show on? My show is on a Monday 11am-1pm

Anything else you would like to say Becca? Yes. I would just like to say a massive thank you to all the people at Lionheart. I have had an awesome year and a bit! So many first time experiences I will never forget! I especially want to say thank you to Anne who has always been there for me!
