LIONHEART GETS THE RIGHT NUMBERS

TWO presenters from Lionheart Radio will be hoping to keep in step at the Druridge Bay Fun Run this Sunday.

Breakfast stalwarts Paul Shucksmith and Richard Dale have been given the numbers 10 and 73 for the 10k charity fun run.

Seen together, they spell out the FM frequency of the Alnwick community radio station.

Paul and Richard will be wearing their Lionheart t-shirts on the day and say they are looking forward to the race.

“It’s a great opportunity to raise money for a very deserving cause as well as get out and about with the radio station” said Richard.

The run, which starts at 10.30 on Sunday morning has been organised by Red Row Sports Club. All proceeds will go to the British Heart Foundation.

Station colleague Carl Stiansen has chosen a less energetic way to show his support. He will be helping to run the PA system during the race.

Lionheart Radio listeners can tune into a full preview of this year’s run on Saturday morning between 9.00am and 11.00am.
