Lionheart Radio 24 hour broadcast marathon
To celebrate our first year of broadcasting on 107.3fm, Lionheart Radio held a 24 hour broadcast marathon starting at 8am on 21st June 2008, until 8am the next day.
We had 24 presenters with an hour each, which in turn created a very eventful mix of music, chat, news and everything else you would expect from the Lionheart Radio team.
As well as celebrating our 1st birthday, each presenter also looked for your support - in the time honoured tradition of fundraisers such as "Children In Need", we asked you to make a pledge to donate some cash to our community project.
We made over £3000 on the day, which is an amazing achievment for one days work. Thank you to everyone who got involved, either by presenting, donating or listening!
